Description

This is the new image with fixes based on the crits. flattened out the face more, made it less fat. And took some of the muscle work out of the back leg, I'm a lot happier with it now. The character of the sunicorn's face is a lot more powerful now, which is really what I was looking for originally.

I wanted to have a go at painting a horse in Photoshop, and since I got myself a new tablet at Christmas, ended up with this. This is the first I've actually FINISHED a piece of artwork in Photoshop.

Nice work, the head of the unicorn needs a little bit mroe work though (it looks too fat)
The front legs are too short and the muscles on the back legs are off. You should use a reference

Thanks guys for the comments, it's nice to have somewhere to inspire me back into doing artwork again. And thanks Kitty for the constructive coments, i did have a couple of ref pics that i pulled off the web (unfortunately can't remember where now), but they were very low res images. The muscles on the do seem to make the leg look like it's coming out towards the viewer slightly, and yeah the face does look a bit fat, might try and work on that a bit.
Thanks again, hopefully try and get a few more images up soon.
